Viewer discretion advised... this is the much-awaited shower scene 😂 If you know, you know: 🙌. Well, the shower is FINISHED. In fact, it's my FIRST 100% complete area in the house. This is a special milestone. From this point forward build updates are going to start focusing more on finished areas in the house than making stuff. I can't say how excited this makes me. There is so much left to do but I can finally see a path through to the end. I lined the shower with a product called Wall Art. Normally I don't like this stuff and think it looks horrible, but I found two colours that look great. Concrete matte and slate matte - I went with slate and I am really happy with the result. Then for the tiles I have gone with a 5mm thick hexagonal mosaic tile. Now these are not a floor tile, but my theory is it's going to be difficult to get such a small tile to crack, I may have issues with grout but that is easy to repair. Speaking of cracking these tiles almost cracked me when I messed up my slope and had to rip out over 1200 tiles by hand. I hope I never have to go through that again, it was painful. Next step is to finish building my lift-up bed and then I am waiting for the cabinetry which is already underway with the cabinetmaker. I have designed and drawn it all up, but I am having it cut on a CNC as it's such sooo much easier than my trying to cut all that out on a saw. I'll then build and install it all. I am also making all my own benchtops and end panels. Until next time, don't hate... educate, and go build cool stuff. @caution110011 months ago I love the look, hiding the vent in the skylight is an amazing idea. Though i probably would have tried to hide the shower head up there too, just to keep the dark look.

@250Rem9 months ago Wow, i cant believe that in about a minute on the dial but are you gonna be late so i can cut the shelving in the shower because that would work for organization for light shampoo soap whatever.
