Here's how to make Asian chicken and vegetable lettuce wraps. I've taken a few recipes here and mashed them into my own creation. One of them being the popular PF Changs Lettuce Wraps.
Ingredients: 6 Servings ($1.60 per)
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
4 Chicken Thighs (Chopped Finely) or sub Ground Chicken/Turkey
1 Cup Carrots
1/2 Cup Celery (Chopped)
1 Large Onion (Chopped)
3 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)
1 Tablespoon Ginger (Minced)
1 Small Can of Water Chestnuts (Chopped)
5 Mushrooms (Chopped)
3 Small Chilis (Minced)
3 Tablespoons Chopped Green Onion
3 Tablespoons Crushed Peanuts
3 Tablespoons of Hoisin Sauce
1 tablespoons of Rice Wine Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Low Sodium Soy Sauce
Fry Chicken at Medium high heat for a couple minutes. Add Onions. Fry for a minute.
Add firmer Vegetables such as carrots, and Celery. Fry for a minute.
Add garlic and Ginger, and then all liquid sauces. Mix.
Add Water Chestnuts, Mushrooms, and Chilies. Fry for a minute.
Add Peanuts, and green onions. Fry for a minute.
