firstly, sejun was such an organic character and he has a unique outlook towards from the start of the season i liked hayoung best. Looking back, i felt like hayoung was the best at putting together pieces for a unique and trendy look but she fell quite short at designing original pieces. Hayoung' s fashion show felt the most unified and well-planned! She really considered her models' images well while keeping consistent with her vision so as a result, all the outfits looked different but also cohesive and seamless. It was like a whole collection being presented at an actual fashion show. Unfortunately, i felt like she was under so much pressure to complete the fashion show looks that she kinda fell short on the second and third rounds. For her second round outfit, personally i think it would have been better if there was more texture on the see-through lace, her beret to have been more of an olive color instead of mint, and lastly the socks could have been red and black striped to avoid the bland feeling because her outfit looked kind of tacky with the big chunk of black items in the middle and just focusing the olive and red on the top and bottom parts. Her third outfit was a hit or miss for me because it lacked the cohesiveness and the yellow top looked kind of out-of-place; but like what the judges said, the pieces would be great if used individually. She did so well! She has infinite potential and a bright future ahead of her! I hope she never stops honing her craft and grows to be an awesome designer in the future too!
finally, yuna. She started at 20th place, but she really proved to everyone that she is a force to be reckoned with. Aside from doing her best, she didn' t fail to bring her own color into styling for all of the missions. She really is a complete package; she always presented mission outfits that were worthy of top place and she always improved with every mission she was faced with. Her journey until the final mission had provided her with invaluable skills that helped her win, it was like she was an adventure video game protagonist that accumulated xp, special skills, and awesome gear all throughout the game and i admire that about her. Her outfits for each mission (except for the luggage mission, that was a meh look) had an aura of completeness and when she made clothes, directed film and photo shoots, she really wasn' t afraid to make her goals and visions happen and i believe that she seemed the most ready to launch a fashion brand because she really gets down to the littlest of details while also consideringthe big picture. Yuna' s first round fashion show didn' t connect with me that well because it kinda felt disconnected from each other but her second and third round outfits were sooo well done!those were completely balanced looks that had the yuna feel to them and they were amazing! I really loved the cake-tier dress, i screamed when it was revealed. It really was well-planned and well-executed and it had that gothic but also cute vibe going on, it was perfect for her brand. Happy grapes is a fashion brand that i would like to order clothes from, and i am so excited for her fashion designing journey!
kudos to all of the producers and staff of this show for bringing content that' s creative and helps with nurturing these highschool kids' dreams and aspirations of being fashion designers! Goganzi fighting!
