@HenryParkes-kp1yclast year I love San Francisco so much - such a beautiful City - and in 2017 six of us met up there from different points of the Globe for a family reunion. My adult daughter left the hotel for a stroll alone and was accosted by a naked, drug addled man in the middle of the day, on a busy street. The next day, on a sight seeing walk downtown with all my family, I was deliberately shoulder barged and then accosted by a group of thugs who wanted money in "reparation". We managed to extract ourselves from the situation only because four of our family group are seasoned men. But that's it - we will never return to the filth and crime on those streets. We could not believe the deterioration over the seven years since our previous visit in 2010. ... 8

Social media has changed people into a laziness when it comes to casting a ballot. Newspapers - local newspapers are disappearing where there is no analysis provided. Local radio stations are disappearing and local analysis has "left the building." We NEED a return of local "town criers," so to speak, where locals are questioned on the bills/laws, or whatever one wants to call them, and they get to hear or read from the local news media about what is going on.
