@Jay-wt6gj3 years ago I see a lot of them comments are 20+ years old and find nostalgia in this band. You’ll be happy to hear that I’m a sophomore and just found this band, so their music still has the same impact as it did 14 years ago :) 33

@vinnyvidivici6 years ago Why does this sound even better now that I’m 28 years old? 😂 621

@josephtrice86192 years ago Was homeless at age 16 and circa/maravolta was the only music I listened to with my friend at the time. This band, but more importantly this song got me through the toughest pinnacle of my life. Down to the moment that could have changed everything for me. Charged through and am totally grateful it ever existed. Nobody else would understand though. Circa has saved a lot of lives. ... 30

@puttfordoughdiscgolf93612 years ago Anything by Anthony Green was so huge to me back when all this came out. I stopped listening as I turned to so many other genres, but I'm rediscovering them and it brings me back so hard and I'm 32. Circa is pure gold. ... 8

@ashleydodd91454 years ago My ex introduced me to this band. It was the worst relationship of my life at 19. It took me years to love myself again. Now I'm happily married to a man who worships the ground i walk on with two beautiful babies. I think this band got me through the worst time of my life. I think I'll start listening to them again. ... 26

@EthosF4ded5 years ago When I was 16 the girl that took my virginity said this was "our song" I've loved this band ever since. Now as a 27-year-old man with a family and a long nearly forgotten past I finally realize what she meant. 99

@theadversarylight-bringing69803 years ago Can we last through the winter
    The water's starting to freeze
    The only one who remembers
Taking the wrong step falling in front of me
    This body's already aging
    These nights are already long
And if I last through the winter I swear to you now, I wont call
    Congratulations, go home now
Will we last through the winter
Will we make it to see
    I never wanted a partner
    And I never loved you
Now you are free to leave
    This heart is already frozen
    I can't remember the fall
And if I last through the winter
I swear to you now, I won't call
    Congratulations, go home now
It's too late it's too late
    They won't let go
Follow five foot steps through that open door, open door
It's too late its too late
    They won't let go
Follow five foot steps through that open door, open door
It must be buried under the heart
    That makes this pace consistant
You'll find it torn, thats gates been open
And I've been wondering, if you'd been real with us
    It's too late...
It's too late it's too late
    They won't let go
Follow five foot steps through that open door, open door
It's too late its too late
    They won't let go
Follow five foot steps through that open door, open door
Its that start stop and go
You've been dying for, you've been dying for

@nathanaelputnam8178 years ago that moment when you realize that the "follow five steps through the open door.." lyric refers to 6 feet underground... because it takes one more step to get through the door.... Amazing writing guys keep it up 14

@peterpetruzzi7 years ago First song I heard by this band. Many years ago, I was working in a clothing store, and this song was in the mix of songs that played all day. I remember standing below the speaker in the ceiling, pretending to fold clothes, and space out wondering why this song intrigued me the way it did/still does. Ohhh the nostalgia. ... 16

@nickcolasurdo58828 years ago Juturna may very well be the best album to come out of that early-mid 2000's post-hardcore/screamo/emo scene. Just an incredible sense of atmosphere throughout. Almost a flawless effort! 37

@theduosevennick11 years ago I know comments like this will just get buried under arguments on youtube, but I just want to say how amazing that it is that this band knows how to create songs that are accessible to the average listener, while still staying very musically talented and deep. Anyone, musical background or not, can listen to this and love it because it's so goddamn catchy, but someone who, you know, plays music or understands music on a deeper level can recognize the talent here and respect it. That's amazing. ... 12

They played my son's birthday party, and ever since then, they come over for snow cones every Thursday night. Sometimes we get blue raspberry, sometimes Tigers blood. Anyways, see everyone at Thump. ...

@michaelallen25015 years ago A long time ago... in a lifetime far, far away... I went to a Rise Against concert in Detroit. Two bands I've never heard of (yet) opened Circa Survive. @joshhill56329 years ago Just saying. I want this album played at my funeral. Fuck sleeping with sirens. Sorry. They just don't compare. This is a band. With real lyrics. And they don't just want the tween attention. They make music, that makes ears orgasm. I love when a band sings lyrics that mean something. Not only to them, but a connection with the audience. They do it proper. ... 5
