Following the success with the last catapult launch glider I thought I would make another, this time it's a delta wing. For some reason it does not like heavy landings on concrete, but apart from that it flew well. If you have a question it is probably worth reading this video description first because the answer may already be here. To help you find my videos I made two search guides /watch/wgcHOoOSBecSH or /watch/kRYwkwgU4jZUw or checkout my playlists page /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 Here is one of Jag Betty's recent videos /watch/A765Cse7MQ_75 and here is his channel /user/JagBetty Here is the build video for the previous glider /watch/ikahG99F0PJE87_ExtIZn0BrSRPx2a5ALP=tsil?My3y9So67UU6h Aidan Reece who requested the original plane has done his own version here The build /watch/gj_W9mu5T0g5W Test flights /watch/wwCXg0Xz5p0zX Catapult launch /watch/4Jg2eXf5zB252 Main components - Bamboo chopsticks Polystyrene pizza tray Styrofoam plate Wooden coffee stirrer Hot Glue Rubber bands Main Tools - Hot Glue Gun Sharp knife Hobby saw Sandpaper Filmed using FujiFilm FinePix XP70 Edited using Serif MoviePlus Starter Edition The background music is from the YouTube Audio Library Grass by Silent Partner Related playlists Aircraft playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB0nZItxE_78EJP0F99Ghaki Pizza Trays playlist /playlist/PLA5a2xPRSrB04GN5yvwwJipBl8tm3-LcD Clearly many parts of the world do not have polystyrene pizza trays. They are just the packaging that my local supermarkets use for pizzas. I use them because they are free and would otherwise be thrown away. You could use any polystyrene or styrofoam packaging you can find or even buy foam board from model shops. The foam I am using is about 5mm thick. I have over 2000 videos on YouTube covering a wide range of subjects. To find them follow my search guides /watch/wgcHOoOSBecSH or /watch/kRYwkwgU4jZUw or see my playlists page /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan/playlists?flow=grid&view=1 Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap. /user/GrandadIsAnOldMan
