@sararockafella11 months agoTurmeric is most effective with a fat source aka cocoanut oil, ghee. As its fat soluble. I throw cocoanut oil into my smoothie if I have turmeric in it. I don't do dairy. 460

@mrwiggiewoo11 months agoI like to peel and slice ginger, put it in a jar and cover the slices with dry sherry. It will keep in the fridge forever and is wonderful for sauces and stir frys. Then I always have ginger at the tip of my fingers and it's not buried under the bag of onions hiding in my produce drawer.😄 ...103

@beebuzz9599 months agoGinger also freezes really well. I just grate what i need and throw the rest back on for later. I also don't peel it. I read a thing that some chefs debated and found no need to do so. 12
